Mary Gaudette

Gaudette, Mary Ann MIDDLETON - Mary Ann Gaudette, age 69, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at St. Marys Hospital in Madison. She was born on Feb. 13, 1937, in Waukesha, the daughter of the late Joseph Bernard and Hanna (Pantekoek) Stark. Mary Ann was a graduate of Tama Iowa High School and went on to earn a B.A. in journalism from the University of Iowa in 1958. She was employed with Schusters as a personnel supervisor from 1958 to 1963, and also after the merger with Gimbels from 1963 until 1966. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Noel Gaudette on June 26, 1965, in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Madison. She was a member of St. Bernards Catholic Church of Middleton and worked in the religious education program with the church for 10 years. She also volunteered in the Middleton-Cross Plains School District during the time her own children attended school there. Mary Ann enjoyed music, sewing, crocheting, crafts and baking, but treasured most the time spent with her family. She is survived by her husband, Noel Gaudette; a son, Stephen, of Chicago; two daughters, Diane (William) Kelly and Kathleen (Gregory) Gebhard, all of Madison and many other special friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Avenue, Middleton at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Maryanne was a very loving and caring person, who was loved by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
