Virginia Lund

Lund, Virginia R. MADISON - Virginia R. Lund, age 76, of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at her home. She was born on Aug. 12, 1930, in Madison, the daughter of Duane and Martina (Paltz) Briggs. Virginia was united in marriage to Richard Lund on Jan. 21, 1950, in Madison. She worked as a chiropractor assistant. Virginia is survived by two sons, Steve (Marie) of Muskego and Ronald (Karen) of Polson, Mont.; a daughter, Barbara Lund of Madison; two grandsons, Nick Lund and Eric (Beth) Lund; two granddaughters, Ashleigh and Kristen Lund; and two great-granddaughters, Faith and Kylee Lund. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; and a brother, Donald Briggs. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006. Private funeral services will be held.
