Effie Winch

Winch, Effie L. MADISON - Effie L. Winch, age 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 27, 2006. She was born on Oct. 29, 1916, in Spring Green, the daughter of John and Amelia (Anderson) Peart. Effie was united in marriage to Fay Winch on June 25, 1936, in Middleton. She worked at American Exchange Bank, as a bookkeeper. Effie was a member of Arena Bible Church, Arena. She enjoyed quilting and gardening. Effie is survived by her children, Bradley (Marjorie) Winch of Madison, and Joan (David) Overson of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fay in 1975; her parents; two brothers, Russell and Clyde; and two sisters, Blanche and Stella. Funeral services will be held at MONONA OAKS COMMUNITY CHURCH, 6200 Monona Drive, Monona, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, with the Rev. William Bartz presiding. Burial will be in Arena Cemetery.
