Charles Milligan

Milligan, Charles Edgar MADISON - Charles Edgar Milligan, age 56, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Nov. 17, 2006. He was born on July 8, 1950, in Rosiclare, Ill., the son of William J. and Irene (Belt) Milligan. Chuck was united in marriage to Betty Weber on May 17, 1986, at St. Bernards Catholic Church, Madison. He graduated from an art school in Chicago. Chuck was a jack of all trades, able to fix anything, working in many different industries. He worked at St. Bernard Catholic Church and St. Vincent de Paul. Most recently he started his own business, Milligan and Son. Chuck was a train enthusiast and liked ultra-lite planes. He was always willing to lend a hand, helping others in need before completing his own projects. Chuck enjoyed fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his son, Hayden. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his son, Hayden; his mother, Irene Jennings; a sister, Rosemary (Guy) Heller; a brother, Frank (Linda) Milligan; his special aunts, Toppy and Mary; mother-in-law, Mary Ann (Frank) Seitz; brothers-in-law, John (Linda) Weber and Alfred "Fritz" Weber Jr. (Teri Prejs); sisters-in-law, Joyce (Bernie) Risch and Sandy (Howard) Koelle; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and Grandma "Mom" Katie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at noon on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, with Father John Meinholz presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the family, for a scholarship fund to be established for his son, Hayden.
