Chris Mork

Mork, Chris A. MADISON - Chris A. Mork, age 51, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at the Anderson Johnson HospiceCare Center, surrounded by his family, after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 27, 1955, to James Edward and Shirley (Hustad) Mork. Chris graduated from Madison East High School in 1973 and from UW-Madison in 1988. He was a purchasing agent for Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs. Chris was an avid reader and Packer and Brewer fan. He enjoyed woodworking and home improvement projects. Chris is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Kirsten (Fredricksen); his son, James; his mother, Shirley; step-father, Tom Dunn; two brothers, John (Sharon) and Tom (Sandy); and four nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; an uncle, Otto Mork; an aunt, Thora Weger; and his grandparents, Christ and Hilda Mork and Olin and Irene Hustad. Funeral services will be held at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1904 Winnebago St., at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, with the Rev. John Ruppenthal presiding. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 6, 2006, and at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. The family is very grateful and thankful to the staff at UW-Hospital, St. Marys Hospital, and the Anderson Johnson HospiceCare Center, for their compassionate and heartfelt care.
