Lois Wille

Wille, Lois C. MADISON - Lois C. Wille, age 80, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at UW-Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Sept. 6, 1926, in Lodi, the daughter of Walter and Flossie (Becker) Carr, and was raised in Madison. Lois attended Lincoln and Sherman schools, graduated from Madison East High School and attended UW-Madison. She was united in marriage to Edwin Wille on Nov. 5, 1945. Lois worked at Guardian Life Insurance Company on Gorham Street. She then worked as a real estate agent and for the Department of Natural Resources, retiring in 1990 after 25 1/2 years of service. She was an active member of Memorial United Church of Christ, Fitchburg. Lois is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Edwin; a son, Scott (Rebecca) of Fort Mill, S.C.; a daughter, Stephanie (Mark) Kunz of Hickory, N.C.; two granddaughters, Michelle (Hutch) Kahle and Cara Kunz; and many wonderful friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandmothers; a sister, Garland; and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, with the Rev. Bonnie Van Overbeke presiding. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
