John Wiese

Wiese, John David "Jack" MADISON - John David "Jack" Wiese, age 74, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, at West Allis Hospital. He was born on April 20, 1932, in Fitchburg, the son of Elmer and Mary (Byrnes) Wiese. Jack was united in marriage to Betty Schulze on Aug. 6, 1955, in Madison. He served in the U.S. Army, as a cook, in the Korean War. Jack was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church and V.F.W. Post No. 7591. He retired from Forest Products, as a supervisor. Jack is survived by his wife, Betty; a sister, Eva Lawry; three sisters-in-law, Florence Wiese Davidson, Catherine Wiese and Lillian Wiese; many nieces, nephews and god-children; and his dog, Cupcake II. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Memorial services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, with Father Brian Wilk presiding, and military services to follow.
