Nicholas Butzek

Butzek, Nicholas J. CROSS PLAINS - Nicholas J. Butzek, age 21, passed away on Monday, Sept. 18, 2006, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born on Jan. 10, 1985, at St. Marys Hospital in Madison, the son of Greg and Jeanne (Mueller) Butzek. He graduated from Middleton High School in 2003. Nicholas was a very loving son and brother and a very precise and artistic salesman who was employed with both Fred Meyers Jewelers and S and K Menswear at West Towne Mall. He had a vast knowledge of advanced automotive technology and also enjoyed racing video and computer games. What he treasured most was the time spent with family and friends. Nicholas was a member of St. Bernards Catholic Church. He is survived by his parents, Greg and Jeanne Butzek; a sister, Stephanie T. (Andrew) Monroe of Savannah, Ga.; a soon to be born nephew; his paternal grandmother, Alice Butzek of Waukesha; his aunts and uncles, Lynda (Edward) Ossi, Sandra Kersten, Gayle (Michael) Hasslinger, MaryPat (Don) Utech, John Butzek, Gerald Mueller, Diane (Mark) Hoffman, Lois (Mark) Keating and Robert (Shelly) Mueller; many close cousins; a special friend, Rose Dauck; as well as other friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Camille C. Butzek; and maternal grandparents, Benno and Dorothy Mueller. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARDS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, with Monsignor Douglas Dushack presiding.
