Margarette Ledford

Greetings, I met Peg in 1962 when we were preparing for the 1962 Girl Scout Round-Up in Button Bay Vermont. While I was a Scout youth member from a different council than hers, she was most valuable in mentoring our patrol for an experience of a lifetime. I will fondly remember her council and support, especially since she did not know me before I contacted her out of the blue. When my own daughter became a Girl Scout in the local council, it was a treat to again touch base with her and again share past experiences. I will fondly remember her for her contributions to Scouting and her self-less willingness to take a young Scout under her tuitilage.
