Kevin Coyle

Coyle, Kevin W. "Duffy" MADISON - Kevin W. "Duffy" Coyle, age 55, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at Meriter Hospital, from a sudden heart attack. He was born on May 26, 1951, in Ashland, the son of Kenneth and Marjorie Coyle. Kevin graduated from LaFollette High School in 1969. He was united in marriage to Barbara Hill on July 10, 1971, in Madison. Kevin was a painter and a member of Painters Local No. 802, until he became disabled with M.S. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, Brewers and Packers fan. Kevin enjoyed reading, politics and going to Ho-Chunk Casino. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Kevin is survived by his parents; his wife, Barbara; two daughters, Brooke (Keith) Hillson and Tracie (Eric) Davis; four grandchildren, Carly and Brianna Hillson and Taryn and Dane Davis; siblings, Beth Rogers, Greg (Jane), Tom, Mary Jo (Jim) Hilles, Lauri (Jim) Zander, and Dan (Fran); a large extended family, including many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and his special friends, Doug (Alice) Wampole and Neil (Sue) Dettwiler. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wallace and Audrey Hill. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 5 p.m., on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006, with the Rev. Dean Kirst presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National M.S. Society of Wisconsin or the American Heart Association. A special thank you to the Madison Police Department, the Madison Fire and EMS, the Rev. Father John Brian Paprock, for all the care and support they have shown Kevin. May the roads rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm your face.
