Craig Scott

CHICAGO, IL/ PHOENIX, AZ / SABIN, WI - Craig Scott, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. He was born on May 15, 1950, the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Otto) Scott. 

Craig graduated from Proviso West High School (Illinois) in 1968, and from Milton College in Janesville in 1972 and was employed as a commercial photographer. 

He loved traveling across the country, spending time on the family tree farm, listening to music, especially classic rock, blues and jazz, and collecting vinyl records. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family. 

Craig is survived by his son, Brian (Marissa) Scott; daughter, Jennifer (CJ) McCarthy; granddaughter, Mariella McCarthy; brother, Ken (Debra) Scott; nephews, Jerid Scott and Ben Brayden; nieces, Tammy Scott and Courtney Barthel; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary (Jennifer) Scott; and parents, Robert and Elizabeth. 

A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, Middleton, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 13, 2026. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
