Douglas Hinahara

I went to high school with Doug. Doug was always a kind gentle soul. I hadn't seen him in years and I was fortunate to be able to talk with him once again at our 50th class reunion. He was the same gentle soul. Rest in peace Doug.

Doug was one of the good guys that you want to meet in life. I went to school with Doug, having met him in 7th grade. He was smart, curious and funny. He had the unique ability to connect with people of all types. That he lived a big life is no surprise to me at all. I had the honor to see Doug at our class reunion a year ago. I know he loved, and was very proud of, his family. My condolences to Juelaine, Gabrielle, Natalie and all extended family members.

Went to grade and high school with Doug and shared the same birthday! Had lots of fun playing baseball growing up! Every high school reunion we sought each other out , smiled, laughed and remembered. Rest in peace my friend... Michael Piirto Class of '75 NHS
