MADISON - Crystal L. Sayles passed away on October 7, 2026. She was born on September 1, 1977, the daughter of Ronald Lee and Linda Lee Sayles.
Crystal graduated from Waukesha West High School in 1995 and earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She worked as an accounts payable specialist within the biology research field, dedicating her professional life to contributing to scientific advancements. She cherished the friendships she made throughout her life and valued spending time with those close to her. Family held a special place in her heart.
In her leisure moments, Crystal enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons with her regular group of friends, caring for her beloved cat, Luna, and expanding her collection of frogs. She was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, faithfully watching their games on Sundays.
Crystal is survived by her parents, Ronald and Linda; brother, Chadwick Lee Sayles; boyfriend, Thomas Kazmierczak; and best friend, Colleen. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucille and Mortimer Sayles and M. Virginia and Donald Gerdman.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
