Regina "Gina" Lee

SUN PRAIRIE- Regina "Gina" Lee, age 68, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026. She was born on October 23, 1957, to parents, Jerald and Dorothy (Kusrow) Braund. Gina was a graduate of LaFollette High School, Class of 1975. Throughout her life, Gina was dedicated to her work as a property manager within the community action sector.

Gina had a loving heart. In her younger years she took great pride at supporting her boys at their sporting events. She was a wonderful cook, and she delighted in preparing meals for friends and family.  Her greatest accomplishment was to become a grandmother to Poppi Nicole Lee and Lowen Alex Lee. Gina enjoyed craft shows as well as cross-stitching.

Her volunteer spirit was evident in her many contributions to the Rio Food Pantry, Spring Prairie Lutheran Church and local animal shelters. She remained an active member of the Spring Prairie Lutheran Church as well as a dedicated participant in the Class of 1975 reunions, particularly enjoying the reunion luncheons and reconnecting with old friends.

Regina is survived by her sons, Andrew (Bonny Kneedler) Lee and Adam (Natalie Fox) Lee; daughter-in-law, Katie Lee; sister, Cindy Hoppe; grandchildren, Poppi Nicole Lee and Lowen Alex Lee; nephew, Brian (Bobbi) Hoppe; niece, Becki (Jason Schuler) Hoppe Schuler; grand dogs, Clark, Lois and Macy; and many loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents; her beloved son, Alex Lee and brother-in-law, Gary Hoppe.

A memorial service will be held at SPRING PRAIRIE LUTHERAN CHURCH, N509 County Road C, Deforest, on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Rick Bursh presiding. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday, October 23, 2026.  Also, a Celebration of Life will be held at the UTICA BAR, 2167 County Road W, Cambridge, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 12 noon until 4 p.m.
