As a Deputy US Marshal I saw Jane frequently in the booking area of the jail as we both transported lots of prisoners for our respective agencies. We discovered early on that we had a common friend from her upbringing in the Wisconsin Dells. Every time I saw her she wore a smile and was positive. She represented her profession and her agency with honor, dignity and grace. She will be sadly missed by the countless lives she touched. I am unable to attend the memorial service but I will pray a rosary by day's end in her name.

It saddened me to hear this news. I hope the siblings can remember the great days Jane had and how your sister touched many.

We traveled many a mile, flew from here to there. You were always aware of your suroundings. You treated each person you came in contact with the same respect and decency no matter what trouble that person was accused of. Yes, you were the greatest partner one could have ever worked with. I will remember you as you, not what took you away. 'We weren't prepared for you to go You were too full of life to be taken away from us so soon. It's still to hard to believe How much we'll miss your smile And your laughter in our ears Your absence leaves a hole in us We're filling with our tears You taught me how to be my best To in the moment live To never hold a grudge for long And loyal friendship give Your presence was a light and joy We never realized would someday end Just like the brilliant falling star That curved' round heaven's bend...'
