Oh sweet Ellen. I am so thankful that I got to know you and you deemed me "Melzie" I loved your spirit so much. I always enjoyed every time I saw you and Terry. You certainly brighten my day! You were talented, full of sass, and full of joy. I was just reminiscing of my last encounter with you two in fall of 2019 in Lake Mills! What a joyous time that was. May you shine down on all of us and know I will never forget you. Love Melzie 💘

An absolute ray of sunshine and the most talented artist I’ve ever known. I loved seeing Ellen and Terry at yard sales and admired her ability to see beauty in so many things. The picture chosen for this posting is perfect. She was a pontoon queen that loved sharing the beautiful ride with others. She saw the world through an artist’s eyes and was able to show those images to others through her work. I was awed by her talent. I feel so blessed to have known her and I knew from the moment I met her that she was special and such a brilliant gifted person. Ellen was so good at being a friend. We were privileged to be among her friends. I will miss her deeply. Our condolences to Terry and her many friends and family. Her life made a difference to so many people. She leaves a beautiful legacy through her work and wisdom.
