June was a lovely, gracious, fun-loving woman. I visited her home several times, and she reveled in being hostess. We enjoyed music and singing both at her home and my family's home on various occasions. Perhaps the greatest tribute I could offer is that she raised a daughter who is one of my closest friends. Tammy is a woman of integrity, graciousness and intelligence who I look up to. The daughter didn't stray far from the mother. I am grateful to June for her model of excellence in every aspect of life.
