Obituary
MADISON - Lillian Katherine Stull, age 98, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024. She was born on Aug. 19, 1926, in Perry Township, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Meier) Keller.
She was united in marriage to Wendell Stull on February 26, 1949, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in the town of Perry and together they raised 10 children.
She worked for many years and spent her lifetime helping others. In addition to her Church, she belonged to Warner Park Recreation center and Waunakee SR center. She attended weekly meetings with the TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) program, she started walking and could walk up to 2 miles per day. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, playing euchre and camping. After her retirement she loved volunteering most notably with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) where she assisted children with reading at the Lindberg Elementary School.
Lillian is survived by her five sons, Paul (Vicky) Stull, William Stull, Lawrence Stull, Thomas (Debbie) Stull and George Stull; two daughters, Kathryn Stull and Lynn (Pat) Schrauth; grandchildren, Angel, Nasya, Kristopher, Lori, Teresa, Scott, Allyson, Stacy, Sierra, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Tara, Kyle; great-grandchildren, Ashantianna, Trevon, Amari, Cameron, Lylah, Adele, Savannah, Elsie and Cora; son-in-law, Terry (Mary) Walker; daughter-in-law, Amy (JR) Stull; and sister, Frances (Richard) Paulson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Elizabeth; husband, Wendell; two daughters, JoAnn Lawrence and Mary Walker; son, Wendell Stull Jr.; daughters-in-law, Diane (Bill) and Tracy (Larry); and three brothers, John (Barbara) Keller, Richard (Lois) Keller and Donald Keller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, with Father Michael Tarigopula presiding. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, and also at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Thursday.
The family would like to thank Brightstar Care and SSM Health Home Care for all the staff and caregivers that made it possible for Lillian to stay in her own home.
