Marilyn Jane Buskager

STOUGHTON - Marilyn J. Buskager, age 81, of Stoughton, was welcomed home by the lord on Saturday, November 2, 2024. She was born on April 2, 1943, in Edgerton, Wis., the daughter of Wesley and Jennie (Edwardson) Simerson.

Marilyn was raised on the family farm and graduated from Edgerton High School. She worked at Skaalen Nursing Home as a CNA for a number of years and also cared for children in her home. She was an adoring wife, mother, and grandmother.

Marilyn is survived by her three sons, Jeffrey Trieloff, Christian (Atsuko) Trieloff and Brian (Tonya) Buskager; daughter, Jennifer (John Mell) Buskager; 11 grandchildren, Wesley, Ronald, Londyn, Breeana, Bailey, Brady, Peighton, Gabrielle, Janna, Joshua and Jonathan; three great-grandchildren; Lloyd's children, Kathryn (Joe) Topp, Linda Peterson, Jerome (Sharie) Buskager and Christine (Lyle) Haried; and her close friend and niece, Sandy Simerson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Jennie; her beloved husband, Lloyd; two brothers, Wesley (Joanne) Simerson and Richard (Marg) Simerson; and sister, Jean Messer.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1358 Highway 51 N. at Jackson St., Stoughton, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. Burial will follow at Lutheran South Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
