You always answered the phone as of late and I always said thank God you answered... you would say I am here yet and not going anywhere. I love you and will miss you. Your niece Dawn....

Whitey: He was one of my favorite Lieutenants on the MFD. We had a reserve rig, open cab WD and we were responding to a fire call from station 5. I was newer on the job and was a temporary driver that day. I asked him which way we should go(I was not quite sure) and he said, "Kid, I don't care how we get there just get there quick" And don't screw up. The old days with salts like "Whitey were some of the best days on the Madison Fire Department. We will miss you Whitey......... Respectfully, Michael F. Dibble
