Obituary
MADISON-Manfred H. "Fred" Reinhardt, age 60, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at his river home in Parsons, Tenn.
Fred was born Oct. 9, 1955 in Sauk City, Wis., to Adeline and Benjamin Reinhardt. He graduated from Madison West High School in 1972, at which time he enlisted in the U.S. Marines. Fred spent the next four years in Camp Pendleton and was a proud Marine. After coming home, he started working at Clydes as a service technician. In 1992, Fred began working at Maytag and then transitioned into Whirlpool in 2007.
He met Nadine Frydenlund, the love of his life in 1978. They were married in 1984 and lived in Madison, Wis., until accepting a promotion with Maytag in Jackson, Tenn. In 2001, Fred and Nadine began building their dream home on the River in Parsons, Tenn., which was one of his greatest accomplishments. In 2010, he encouraged his mother and father-in-law to come live with them when they could no longer take care of themselves. Fred loved bass fishing on the river and taking family and friends out on his boats. He also loved waterskiing while living in Madison and enjoyed taking his nieces and nephews with him. Fred had many other interests that include bowling, hunting with his buddies, Badgers and Green Bay Packers football and Badgers Hockey. He loved to teach and share his knowledge with his grandkids on everything from building and car repairs to fishing and hunting. Fred was loved by everyone who met him.
Fred is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nadine; stepsons, Tom (Jackie) Melah, Kent (Marco) Bowen, and Alfred Bowen; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, Jacob, Kelsey, Brooke, Christopher, Kyle, Lexi, Nicole, Alfredo, Benjamin and little Kayden; siblings, Ervin, Nelli (Jim) Sielehr, Erika Bakken-Schipsi, and Helga (Steve) Sauer; brothers-in-law, Melford (Pat) Frydenlund and Richard (Judy) Frydenlund; many nieces and nephews and his dear friend, George Minter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny and Adeline Reinhardt; mother and father-in-law, Clarence and Dorothy Frydenlund; and stepson, Keith Bowen. The family is comforted knowing that Fred is home with the Lord.

Nadine and family. Patty and I are praying for all of you right now that God will guide you through this sudden and terrific loss. I am just stunned with this loss as Fred was enjoying life and enjoyed being with his friends from the independent business world and his corporate world while in New Mexico the previous week. The phone conversation we had Tuesday will remain always in my heart. He loved you Nadine and spoke of his family very highly. He was looking forward to the "big" vacation and spending relaxing time with his entire family.

We are so sorry for your loss. We just spent time with Mike in New Mexico at the Whirlpool meeting and he was in such great Sprite like he alway was, this news was so shocking. We have know Fred for about 10 years as our Whirlpool rep and he was always such a upstanding and honest person to deal with. When ever we needed something, Fred would always do all he could do for us. He will be greatly missed. We will be praying for the family for comfort in this extremely difficult time. May God give you the peace and comfort you need.
