Vicki Ellen Orth

MADISON-Vicki E. (Hanson) Orth, age 51, of Fitchburg, passed away with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Karmenta Center. She was born on May 4, 1965, in Viroqua, the daughter of Marilyn and Milton Hanson. Vicki was baptized, confirmed and married at Good Shephard Lutheran Church. She married Todd Orth in 2001, in Viroqua, had two children, and later divorced. Vicki attended Viroqua High School and graduated in 1983. She worked for the Kickapoo Inn in Readstown and Copps in Madison. Vicki loved baking, chocolate and playing her favorite card game, Peanuts. She donated her time to Habitat for Humanity and was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. Vicki is survived by her father, Milton; daughter, Alexa Orth; son, Devon Orth; sister, Mary Anne Hanson; brother, John Hanson; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Jean Hanson. Funeral services will be held at ST. STEPHEN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5700 Pheasant Hill Rd, Monona, at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 11, 2016, with Pastor Kathy Gerking presiding.
