Leo Adam Gilbertson

SUN PRAIRIE-Leo Adam Gilbertson, just one month old, passed away peacefully at home under the care of Agrace HospiceCare on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Leo was born in Madison on Feb. 12, 2016, the son of Evan and Lisa (Kieck) Gilbertson of Sun Prairie, WI. This dark haired sweet boy spent every minute of his short life enveloped in love. He adored being held, rocked and sang to by his family, and the frequent kisses by his older brothers. With every cuddle, Leo has forever become attached to our souls. He will be sorely missed as a son, baby brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. Leo is survived by his parents, Evan and Lisa; brothers, Andrew and Owen; grandparents, David and Debra Kieck of South Milwaukee, WI and Sue Ann and Kendall Kumlien of Milton, WI; along with great grandparents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Leo is now at peace, joyfully playing in heaven. A public memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., on Friday, March 18, 2016. Services to begin at 5:15 p.m. In memory of Leo Adam, in lieu of gifts or flowers, the family asks for donations to be gathered and placed in his name to the Sun Prairie Library, Youth Program.
