My thoughts are with you at a sad time. Jim deserved all the joy he received from his family. Seven grandchildren wow having just one I know the happiness they and his own children brought to his life. I worked for Homburg Contractors for the final 24 years before my retirement in Summer of 2009. Great place to work and worked with many great people. Always treated more than fairly by a very generous company. Jim was my immediate boss for some of my best years there. I learned much from him and we had a great relationship. I missed him when he retired. I know what you mean when you say he never let you win at cards....treated me the same. Probably the best boss I ever had. He knew how to deal with people and he had the best sense of humor that I could really appreciate. ( Thinking of when he stepped out of his little pick-up, stepped into a big loader and immediately ran over his truck saying first one to say anything is fired.
