We are sooo going to miss our cabin buddy. Words are not adequate to explain our grief. Had a lot of good times at the lake. Don and Bonnie Bender

Imagine Doug skiing down a Colorado mountain trail. On the way up the lift, his lower body is tucked into a huge black plastic bag. Why? Snow comes down so fast and furiously, skiers exit lift, all looking like snowmen. Imagine, also, how dexterous he has to be to undo the bag before hopping off the chair! He also has a slight disadvantage called a sprained ankle, which meant that on the trip out from WI, he had to put his big old foot up between the front seats. A little discomfort wasn't going to stop him from accepting our invitation to go out West and ski Copper, Keystone, Breckenridge--bring 'em on! Mary Hokanson

I am truly sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in Gods promise found at Revelation 21:4- "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more..."

How sad to lose a loved one no matter what age. We know that your dear one was loved and will be missed. There is one thing that will bring the greatest comfort to you. God has promised mankind this. "Death will be brought to nothing," according to 1 Corinthians 15:26. God has made arrangements to remove sickness and death away from all. (Revelation 21:4-5) Most importantly God does not lie. (Titus 1:2) Any of your loved ones who have died can live again. (John 11:25) Rest assure, God has the power to do all things. You can find more comforting information at JW.org.
