Henry Hinnendael was my grandfather. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a very kind and compassionate man, who really cared about his family and other people. I don't ever remember him being grumpy, and he always had a smile and kind word. We were not ready at all to say goodbye to him, and he will be missed dearly by many, many people. Cindy Viertel

I did not know Henry personally, but I wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your family. At times like this,I have personally found Jesus Christ's words at John 5:28,29 to be truly comforting. There he promised that "the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...to a resurrection of life." I look forward to the time when I can see my loved ones again so much. Feel free to contact me at the attached email address and again I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Henry Hinnendael's family, So many years have passed since the cousin get together on Long Lake in Maine at our family camp sometime in the early 60s. Our home made Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer rafts are gone but the memories are still with me. Please know that though our lives touched in the past, my thoughts are with all of you and your mother. Best to you, Anne Hinnendael
