Thomas Roy Nicoly

MADISON -Thomas Roy Nicoly, age 55, passed away from our view and into God’s hands on Feb.5, 2014, in the comfort of his children’s presence. Tom was the wealthiest of Men: He has always given love and he graciously received love. His kindness was given to strangers without hesitation and no kind act was left undone. Thomas Roy Nicoly was born in Peoria, Ill., on March 8, 1958. In his early school years he was raised in Baraboo. He attended Madison West High School and has lived in Madison all of his adult life. His promise to himself as a young man was to never be without work and to be a good husband and father. Marsha and his children will attest that this promise was successfully fulfilled. Tom was a long time and trusted employee of ProBuild. Tom leaves behind Marsha Bink, his Soul Mate and the Love of his life; his daughter, Tawnya Ann (Kitt) Nicoly, whom he enjoyed his favorite pass time of watching the Packers with; his son, Thomas Roy Nicoly Jr. and his daughter-in-law, Tawny Nicoly, whom gave him the pride of his grandchildren, Jalynn, Alyssa and Gavin Nicoly; his step-daughter, Ashlee Miller; his true friend and mother of his children, Susie Nicoly , his admiring Aunt Pat; his cousins, GG Lasko Weisenfeld & Greg Lasko, whom were like his brother and sister, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and long lasting friends. He was wealthy in people and love. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Anna Nicoly (nee Lolli). Tom’s often expressed words that are forever in the memories of his loved ones: “I love you – and that there now.” The celebration of Tom’s life will be held at The COLISEUM BAR AND BANQUET, 232 East Olin Avenue, Madison, at NOON, on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014.
