Margaret Rose Diny-Miller

STOUGHTON/HILLSBORO-Margaret Rose Diny-Miller, age 82, of Stoughton, formerly of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013. She was born on July 24, 1931, the daughter of William and Olive Fritsch. She married John Diny, Sr. on Oct. 19, 1948. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1985. She then married George Miller in 1991. He preceded her in death in 1996. Margaret was an active member of St. Ann Catholic Church attending mass daily. She was a founding member of Helping Hands at Sacred Hearts Parish in Reedsburg. Her faith and family were most important to her. She also was known for her quilting, knitting, and her cooking and baking. She is survived by her children, John (Linda) Diny of Reedsburg, Theresa (Richard) Nemec of Hillsboro, Carol (Bob) Coppernoll of Hillsboro, Betty (Hank) Burress of Stoughton, Pete (Beverly) Diny of Madison, and Leroy Diny of Marina del Rey, Calif.; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter; and eight brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; son, Dave; grandson, Joey; and many brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ST. ANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 N. Van Buren, Stoughton, at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, with Father Randy Budnar and Monsignor Gerard Healy concelebrating. A luncheon will follow at the America Legion Post #59 803 N Page St Stoughton. Burial will be at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Hillsboro at 3 p.m on Monday, Sept. 23 . Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, 1358 Hwy. 51 N., Stoughton, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, with a Rosary said at 7 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
