Eunice B. Stormer

SPRING GREEN - Eunice B. Stormer, passed away two days after her 95th birthday, Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Greenway Terrace Nursing Home. She was born on June 25, 1918, in Kilbourn (WI Dells), the daughter of Elmer and Alma (Hubert) Golz and grew up in Evansville. She married Victor A. Stormer, October 20, 1945. Eunice worked for the University of Wisconsin Enzyme Lab for many years and retired in 1978. After retiring, she and Victor moved to Lake Namekagon near Cable where they resided for many years. She loved reading, crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She also loved to follow the Badgers, Packers and most of all, she never missed listening to or watching the Milwaukee Brewers. Eunice loved her family and often spoke proudly of her granddaughter, Kara. Eunice is survived by her sons, Gary Stormer of Lone Rock and Steve (JoAnn) Stormer of DeForest, WI/Rochester, MN; granddaughter, Kara Stormer of New York City; three step-grandchildren and one grandson; two brothers, Leslie Golz and Nick (Marian) Golz; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor; her parents; two sisters, Arvilla and Beatrice; and three brothers, Sam, Fritz and Roy. The family would especially like to thank all of the staff at Greenway Manor & Greenway Terrace for the wonderful care and friendship they gave our mom while she was a resident there.
