Alice J. Marshall

MCFARLAND-Alice J. Marshall, age 82, of McFarland, passed away on April 5, 2012, at her home. She was born on Jan. 28, 1930, the daughter of John and Helen (Weber) Biro. Alice graduated from Madison East High School. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, anything to do with the outdoors, and an occasional trip to the casinos. Alice loved her family dearly and will be remembered as someone who would always help anyone in need. She is survived by her sons, Allen “Pete” (Sharon) Peterson, Richard E. (Roxanne) Peterson, Steven (Iris) Peterson, Lincoln (Minda) Marshall, and Michael “Todd” (Tammy) Marshall; her 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Elizabeth Biro; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Eunice Baker; and her aunt, Rose Davis. A memorial service for Alice will be held at GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME EAST, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11:00 A.M., on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, with the Rev. Sandra Schieble presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
