Dear Aunt Rena, Cheryl, Dawn, Linda, Buddy and family,
It is with fondness I remember my earliest days of being with your family at your big house in Middleton...spring flowers in bloom, a quick block walk to church on Easter, playing with our big cousins and the dog, Kybo and great food with Uncle Bud at the head of the table. My next memories are the move to the lake, the new dog, Geeter, time with only Uncle Bud and Aunt Rena after all the kids were grown up and married, and always good stories by Uncle Bud as he, my dad, Auntie,& Grandma Great talked of the good 'ole days. Oh, and let's not forget the games! Then comes my adulthood and my return to WI seven years ago and my visits with Uncle Bud and Aunt Rena and whoever else could come at the condo in Oregon. Uncle Bud always had the big smile and 'bear hug'. What a great legacy he leaves, especially as I reflect on the imprint he left on my dad, a young teenager, who lived at the discipline hand of a big brother and his loving wife and cousins. Without that influence, who knows what path he might have followed. Uncle Bud, thanks for the legacy. You will be missed! Love, Lorie (your neice,)and family

I agree with everything my niece Lorie has written in her tribute. I would like to add that
my big brother whom I always called Bud was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it including yours truly
with Rena's blessings and my nieces and nephew take after their mother and father.
I love you all very much. Janet
