Travis Michael Zeier

Zeier, Travis Michael MADISON - Travis M. Zeier, age 19, tragically died on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, in a pedestrian/car accident. He was born on March 10, 1987, in Madison, the son of Dennis and Debbie Zeier. Travis graduated from Madison East High School in 2005, where he played the baritone in the band and got to perform at Disney World. He was presently attending Madison Area Technical College, after attending UW-Milwaukee for a year. Travis had plans to attend UW-Madison, with a major in biology. He loved to write, draw, paint and sketch. Travis had an interest in computers, the outdoors, and a great love of nature. He often listened to WORT radio and enjoyed a variety of music. Travis had a great sense of humor. He also loved cooking a variety of ethnic foods. Travis is survived by his parents; a brother, Jonathan Zeier of Madison; paternal grandparents, Ray and Loraine Zeier; maternal grandparents, Vern and Marie Gest of Minocqua; five aunts, Michelle (Bill) Kucharski of Colorado, Maria Zeier of Madison, Renee Zeier of Madison, Bonnie (Scott) Halker of Oregon and Lynn (Ross) West of LaCrosse; an uncle, Terry Gest of Madison; three cousins, Shay and Ian Halker of Oregon, and Felicia Meade of Madison; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006, with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Burial will be in Resurrection cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his name.
