Rocile D. Sphar

Sphar, Rocile D. MADISON - Rocile D. Sphar, age 88, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at her home. She was born on May 15, 1918, in Cross Plains, the daughter of Hugo and Lucille (Lenter) Hoessel. Rocile was united in marriage to Dillard Sphar on June 18, 1938. She was a member of Our Saviours Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rocile is survived by her grandchildren, Kim (Frank Wiener) Sphar, Wendy (Michael) Collier, Shari Sphar and Scott Sphar; four great-grandchildren, Trent Simon, Trisha Sphar, Cameron and Caroline Collier; and two sisters, Lois Endres and Leona Esser. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Gary and Leon; a great-grandson, Dustin Tarkenton; a sister, Delores Danz; and two brothers, Ralph and George Hoessel. A Memorial service will be held at OUR SAVIOURS EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1201 Droster Road, Madison, at noon on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006, with the Rev. Brad Homan presiding. Entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
