Morschauser, Elsie M. (Blades Pierick) STOUGHTON - Elsie M. (Blades Pierick) Morschauser, age 69, of Stoughton, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Stoughton Hospital. She was born on Aug. 11, 1937, in Witt, Ill., and was raised in Rockford, Ill. At the age of 55, she earned an associates degree in travel and tourism, in Carbondale, Ill. Elsie enjoyed working and communicating on her computer. She loved her cat and playing bingo. Elsie was united in marriage to William Morschauser on April 12, 1997, in Las Vegas, Nev. She is survived by her husband, William of Stoughton; three sons, Mike (Heidi Verbeten) Pierick of Madison, Steve (Debbie) Pierick of Blue Mounds and Brian (Tim Russell) Pierick of Milwaukee; three step-children, Steve (Michelle) Morschauser of Oak Creek, Tammy (Ian) Gallicano of Alexandria, Va., and Julie (Pete) Weiss of Fitchburg; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a half-sister, Barbara Roden. Elsie was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Carol Pierick; and her siblings. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON STOUGHTON FUNERAL HOME, Hwy. 51 North at Jackson St., from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006. Private family burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
