Frances C. Motisi (Savage)

Motisi, Frances C. (Savage) MADISON/MCFARLAND - Frances Catherine (Savage) Motisi, age 82, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at Haacks Tender Care, Sun Prairie. She was born on Aug. 21, 1924, in Columbus, to Thomas and Clara (Daley) Savage. Frances graduated from Columbus High School in 1942. She married Charles Motisti on Sept. 28, 1946. Frances worked at Howard Johnsons as a waitress, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Frances enjoyed gardening, crocheting, bingo, cooking and baking. She was a wonderful mom and grandma, who never complained or raised her voice. Frances is survived by her daughters, Sherry (James) Tesmer, Karen Motisi (Ned Richardson) and Jo (Patrick) Witz; grandchildren, Tami (Jeff) Moen, Teri Geiwitz, and Justin, Brandon and Megan Witz; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Moen; sisters, Loretta, Patty and Susie; a brother, James; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; parents; an infant son, Charles Jr.; grandson, Michael Geiwitz; and sisters, Marion and Margaret. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, with Monsignor Michael Hippee presiding. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. Memorials may be made to HospiceCare, Inc.
