Luella Elaine (Kiesow) Cole

Cole, Luella Elaine (Kiesow) OREGON/ MADISON - Luella Elaine (Kiesow) Cole passed peacefully from complications of Alzheimers disease on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006. She was born in Bloomer, on Aug. 19, 1930, the daughter of Orve G. and Laura M. (Jahr) Kiesow. Luella married James Edward Cole on Dec. 27, 1950. Together, they cared for their family, until Jim died on October 20, 1985. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, nature and most of all acquiring antiques and collectibles. In addition to being a homemaker, she did child care for many of her neighbors children and provided final care for two of her neighbors, as they went through lifes journey. Luella is survived her brother Lloyd Kiesow of Bloomer; her son, Rodney Cole of New Auburn, and his two children, Tristan and Julia Cole of Sun Prairie; her daughter, Mickey Cole and son-in-law, Larry Puza of Deerfield and their three sons and family, Zach Puza of Deerfield; Chris, his wife, Polly (Bartelt) and their daughter Cori Puza of Sun Prairie; and Tim, his wife, Ann (Adamski), and their son, Ethan Puza of Vesper. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her brother, Charles Kiesow; and her sister and best friend, Loretta Heagle. A visitation and luncheon will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006. Luella will be laid to rest next to her husband of 35 years at Sunset Memory Gardens.
