Bouterse, Keith A. Jr. OREGON - Keith A. Bouterse Jr., age 41, passed away on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at University Hospital, from complications of a stroke. He was born on June 4, 1965, in Kenosha, the son of Karin (Harestad) Porter and Keith Bouterse Sr. Keith graduated from Kenosha Tremper High School in 1983. He attended UW-Madison, receiving a bachelors degree in electrical engineering and computer science in 1987. During that time, he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Keith was united in marriage to Michelle Zierath on May 23, 1992, in Sun Prairie. In 1993, he received his M.B.A. from UW-Madison. He currently worked for Alliant Energy, as a Manager of Strategic Accounts. Keith was a huge Badgers and Packers fan. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending any free time at his cabin up North. Keiths caring and giving manner was always shown to everyone he knew. He was a determined, organized, persistent and extremely thoughtful individual. Keith is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Michelle "Mick" of Oregon; his mother, Karin (William) Porter of Orlando, Fla.; his father, Keith (Toni) Bouterse Sr. of Kenosha; siblings, Lisa, Ami, Chad and Marcus; mother-in-law, Karen (Glenn) Davison; father-in-law, Bob (Jackie) Zierath; sisters-in-law, Lisa, Sandy and Sally; brothers-in-law, Frank "Bean," Alejandro, Adriaan and Joe; very special nieces and nephews, Frankie, Seth, Andrew, Madison, Ryan and Evelyn; and an exorbitant number of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arne and Astrid Harestad, Cornelius Bouterse and Florence Bouterse. A celebration of Keiths life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 7 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. As a tribute to Keith, please feel free to wear your favorite sports or hunting apparel. Keith, I didn't really know you. I remember with humor, though, the Mr Bauer's class. He called you Be-touse ALL year long, and you put up with it. Til you finally asked him why he pronounced your name wrong! You were a great sport. I'm sure you'll be sorely missed by all who knew you.
