Adeline H. Andrusz

Andrusz, Adeline H. MADISON - Adeline H. Andrusz, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, at University Hospital. She was born on Feb. 2, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., to Norbert and Helen Sharapata. Adeline married Casimir "Casey" Andrusz on Sept. 23, 1950, in Chicago. After many years as a homemaker, Adeline had a career in retail jewelry sales, which enhanced her strong interest in Native American art and crafts. Adeline had a lifelong love of dogs, gardening and enjoyed a variety of activities through the years. Traveling and seeing new things delighted her, as did treasure hunting at thrift stores. Her children remember her spending part of the 1970s enjoying bowling at Village Lanes, and enjoying sewing, knitting and other handcrafts. She was a great cook with a number of specialties, and she will be missed for her loving and caring nature. Adeline is survived by her husband, Casimir "Casey"; three children, Doris (Steve Sokolsky) Andrusz of Richmond, Calif., Steve (Joan) Andrusz of Madison, and Kathy (John Surrell) Andrusz of Stoughton; two grandchildren, Miranda and Jolie Andrusz; a sister, Lorraine Wapniarski of Roanoke, Va.; and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, with Father Brian Wilk presiding.
