Ruth M. Moran

Moran, Ruth M. MONONA - On Saturday, March 3, 2007, the angels came to walk beside Ruth Moran as she took her final journey into heaven. There to greet her with his Irish smile was the love of her life, her companion, Jim, who preceded her in death in January 1980. Ruth was born in Cross Plains, on Aug. 5, 1918. Forever young at heart and with a sweet tooth to match her kind spirit, Ruth enjoyed gardening and sharing her quick wit with her family and many friends. Ruth is survived by her two daughters, Pat Behrend (Jim) of El Cajon, Calif. and Renee Celley of Monona; five grandchildren, Mathew Behrend of Phoenix, Ariz., Cynthia Behrend of Vancouver, Wash., Ryan Celley (Susan) of Beaver Dam, and Tony and Lindsay Celley of Monona; and two great grandchildren, Sydney Behrend and Gabrielle Celley. She is also survived by her sister, Alice of Nevada; and sister-in-law, Pearl Hanson, of Madison. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Glenn and Donald; and sisters, Helen, Leona and Dorothy. The family would like to thank the HospiceCare staff who took such loving care of Mom during her journey. To honor Ruths wishes there will be no visitation.
