Carl Albert Luchterhand

Luchterhand, Carl Albert MADISON - Carl Albert Luchterhand, age 56, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2007, at home of natural causes. He was born on March 14, 1951, in Marshfield, the son of Garth and Lorraine (Schmidt) Luchterhand. Carl graduated from Loyal High School and District 1 Technical School for diesel mechanics. He married Sheri Thorson on May 1, 1982, in Christie. Carl loved working on diesel engines and worked at Kayser Ford for 25 years and R. G. Huston Construction in Cottage Grove for 14 years. He worked for several years with his dad at Luchterhand Farm Implement in Loyal. Carl is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheri; his daughter, Jessica (Dustin Keesy); granddaughter, Destiny Marie Keesy; brother, Arlyn; two sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2007. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
