Donna Olday

Olday, Donna COTTAGE GROVE - Donna Oldays flame of life flickered out peacefully, on Monday, June 18, 2007. Donna was born in Madison, on July 21, 1929, and lived in Georgia, Florida, Illinois and Ohio, before settling back in Cottage Grove. She attended Madison East High School. Donna married William Olday shortly after World War II, when he returned from the South Pacific. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 57. Donna adored her children, William and Randall, and is survived by them and her husband, Bill. She is also survived by a sister, Joyce Pixley; and brothers, Ronald and Gerald Hoppmann, who will miss her greatly. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; and three brothers. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2007, with the Rev. Mark Bartels presiding.
