Obituary
Madison - Carlie C. Cage III, passed away on Wed. July 11, 2007 surrounded by his loving family after a battle with cancer. He was born in Chicago, Ill on Jan. 2, 1954, the son of Carlie C. II and Beatrice (Schuyler) Cage. Carlie was a member of the Oneida American Indian Tribe and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a mechanic at heart. Always busy working, whether on remote control cars or boats, race boats or as an outboard mechanic. Carlie just returned to Wisconsin after working for several years in Hollywood, Fla for Doller Offshore Marina. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather, who always made time for his family. He is survived by his father, Carlie C. Cage II; children, John (Candice) Massey, Carlie C. IV (Stacey) Cage, Ian Cage, Josie Nutter and Thomas Porter; 9 grandchildren, Christopher and Paul Medina, Matthew Massey, Austin Howard, Tyler, Caleb and Carly Cage, Luke and Ashley Cage; brother, Warren Cage and sister Jamie Cage and many friends and family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Cage and sister, Toni Rae Cage. Funeral services will be held on Sat, July 14, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Gunderson East Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Dr. Visitation will be on Sat. from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
