Carman, Lorraine Ann (Gunderson) HUTCHINSON, MINN./ MADISON - Lorraine Ann (Gunderson) Carman, age 82, of Hutchinson, Minn., formerly of Neenah, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2007. She was born on Sept. 6, 1924, in Madison, the daughter of Elmer and Inez (Hermanson) Gunderson. Lorraine graduated from Madison East High School in 1942 and from UW-Madison in 1946, as a Registered Nurse. She was united in marriage to James A. Carman in Madison, in 1946. Lorraine was a member of Son?s of Norway and Garden Club. She is survived by her children, James of Oshkosh, Paul of Pensicola, Fla., Jeffrey of Gencoe, Minn., Heidi (James) Nielsen of Kingston, Minn. and Kristen (Richard) Chandler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; five grandchildren; a brother, the Rev. Charles (Marlys) Gunderson of Northfield, Minn.; and two sisters, Jeanlyn (Al) Samuelson of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Mary Ellen (Curt) Ayars of Vermillion, Ohio. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, James; her parents; two sisters, Geraldine Vanderhoef and Seville Dorr; and a brother, Robert Gunderson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 26, 2007, with the Rev. John Ruppenthal presiding. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Lorraine was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
