Kaalele, Abraham "Abe" Thomas Kiai LA CROSSE - Abraham "Abe" Thomas Kiai Kaalele, age 60, of La Crosse, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, March 11, 1947. His father and mother, Charles and Gretchen "Momi" and brothers, Charles Jr. and Albert, all of Hawaii, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; son, Kyle of La Crosse; daughter, Kelli of Madison; and brothers, Michael Tancayo, Robert Kaalele and Barry Kaalele, all in Hawaii. Dear Sandy, Kyle and Kelli,
I have worked with your dad, husband for the past 20 years. He was my boss at DMV, we were then Business Managers together and later both TSS Chiefs. We had a lot of good discussions and a lot of good times. He appreciated hard work and when he saw it he took good care of those people or as he would say 'the troops' I will miss him. This past week I lost my father, so I know the sorrow you are feeling. I will keep all of you in my prayers and I hope that when you think of the good and funny things your dad did you will be proud and find a smile on your heart.
