John Michael Schulenberg

Schulenberg, John Michael CROSS PLAINS - John M. Schulenberg, age 48, passed away unexpectedly after a short illness on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007. He was born on Jan. 3, 1959, in Madison, the son of Robert and Marie Schulenberg. John served in the U. S. Army from Jan. 6, 1977 to Dec. 15, 1979, as a specialist fourth class, stone wrecker operator. John enjoyed being with family and friends. John enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and camping. John was kind hearted and always willing to help anyone. John was self employed for several years. His last few years he lived at home, self employed and taking care of his parents. John is survived by his parents; three sisters, Linda (Scott) Hiekel of Cross Plains, Laura Walkowski of Cross Plains and Lisa Schulenberg of Spring Green; two brothers, Robert O. (Michele) of Middleton and Tom of Mount Horeb; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; an infant sister, DeLynn; and nephews, Raymond, Timothy and Joshua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, with Father Tom Kelley presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Got to go, love you, bye. We love you. Rest in peace.
