Debbie Johann

Johann, Debbie MADISON - Debbie Johann passed on to be with our heavenly Father on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007. Debbie was raised in the country near Mineola Missouri by her loving parents, Agnes and Paul Raymond Payne. She met her husband while they attended college. Debbie and Ed were married by Debs brother, the Reverend Robert Payne on Aug. 21, 1970. Her sons are George Raymond Johann born, Oct. 14, 1972 and Paul Edward born Jan. 16, 1975. George and Paul received and grew her talent of creative ways to communicate and make others happy. Debbie had a special relationship with her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Dan Bothe. Her brother in spirit Gerald Mueller and his wife Norma were also close. Debbie shared a close relationship with her adopted family George and Junia Johann and Cathy Sudholt. Debbie received her bachelors degree from Northeast Missouri State and her masters degree from Ball State University in Muncie Indiana. As a passionate teacher, Debbie impacted the lives of many students and teachers for over 25 years. Debbie loved life and all it contained; nature, art, travel and her family. Her physical presence will be missed but we will celebrate the unique special person she will always be in our thoughts, actions and prayers. Graveside services will be held at the MOUNT OLIVE CEMETERY in Hannibal, Missouri on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at 11 a.m. A Visitation will held at the GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, form 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. followed by a brief service.
