Kulak, Dr. Katherine MADISON Dr. Katherine Kulak, age 45, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at St. Marys Hospital. A celebration of Kathys life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at 6 p.m. at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive. At the conclusion of the service, friends and colleagues are invited to share their favorite memory or story of Kathy. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until time of the service at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a scholarship being established in Dr. Kulaks name. A complete obituary will appear in Tuesday papers

The Katherine I knew in High School was incredibly intelligent, passionate about learning, and so far ahead in her thinking that nearly 30 years later I shake my head in wonder. I am terribly sorry for the loss to her family and friends. You have my thoughts and prayers
