Arlo Frederickson

Frederickson, Arlo STOUGHTON Arlo E. Frederickson, age 84, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, at Skaalen Home. He was born on Jan. 24, 1923, in Oregon, the son of Bernhardt and Lydia (Nielson) Frederickson. Arlo was married to Ferne Zweifel on April 25, 1945, in Oregon. Together the couple farmed. Arlo then worked in maintenance for the Oregon schools and Pranges. He was a sports fan and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and playing cards. Arlo was an Elder at the Oregon Presbyterian Church. Arlo is survived his wife, Ferne of Stoughton; two sons, Cal (Karole) of Las Vegas, Nev., and Dale (Cheree) of Oregon; six granddaughters, Cindy and Amy Frederickson, Rachelle (Scotty) Smith, Renee (Aaron) Zemke, and Jennifer and Mary Beth Milliken; two grandsons, Deron (Gerianne) Frederickson and Freddy Wenger; two great-grandsons, Owen and Calvin Frederickson; a great-granddaughter, Kayla Meyer; and a son-in-law, Frederick Wenger. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jean Wenger; and two brothers, Norman and Harvey Frederickson. Funeral services will be held at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 172 N. Main St., Oregon, on Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at 11:30 a.m., with the Rev. Clara Thompson presiding. Visitation will be at the church on Monday, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
