Gregory Rood

Rood, Gregory S. MADISON Gregory S. Rood, age 45, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2008. He was born on Oct. 16, 1962 in Madison, the son of Jerry and Nancy Rood. Greg grew up in Madison. He graduated high school from Calvary Baptist School in Sun Prairie. Greg attended Maranatha Bible College in Watertown and `Pillsbury Baptist Bible College of Owatonna, Minn. He loved the Lord, and worked at Grace Baptist Church in Madison with the teen group and music program. He also worked at Grace Baptist Church in Gaylord, Mich., doing graphic design and other ministries. Greg loved people, music, graphic design, photography and nature. His hearts desire was to serve God to the best of his ability. Greg is survived by his parents, Jerry and Nancy Rood; a sister, Stephanie (Gary) Martin of Madison; two nephews, Pat and Ben; a niece, Katie; and grandparents, Henry and Genie Lange of Baraboo. Funeral services will be held at GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH, 1801 S. Thompson Rd., Madison, on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., and at the church on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
