Obituary
Lowry, Keith MADISON Keith "Peanuts" Lowry, age 75, died on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at his home. He was born on Oct. 5, 1932, in Stoughton, the son of Milnor and Velma Lowry. He married Marge on Aug. 14, 1953, while he was in the service. Keith was a veteran of the Korean War. After his discharge, Keith and Marge settled in Madison. For several years, Keith managed and owned Skylane Service Station on East Washington Avenue. He was a flea market dealer over the years as well. For seventeen years, up until the day he left us, Keith was employed at Sentry Foods on Cottage Grove Road. He was a member of Lake Edge United Church of Christ. He is survived by his children, Nila (Terry) Voyles of Claude, Texas, Carolynn (Russ) Menendez of Madison, and Keith (Patty) Lowry Jr. of Claude, Texas; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Frazier; nieces; nephews; and many good friends, especially Jack, who shared 60 years of memories. Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Marge; grandson, Chad; granddaughter, Tina; and great-grandson, Prestin. Funeral services will be held at LAKE EDGE UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 4200 Buckeye Road, Madison, on Monday, March 31, 2008, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Shupe presiding. Entombment at Roselawn Memorial Park with military rites conducted. Visitation will be at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, on Sunday, March 30, 2008, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. Thank you so much Aunt Pat for always being there. We love you. We have been left with the gift of truly knowing unconditional love. Keith was our friend besides our father.
